Alzheimer’s Disease International in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association of Trinidad & Tobago will be hosting the 4th Annual Non-Latin Caribbean Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias; under the theme “Dementia in the Caribbean: No time to Lose”- June 8-10, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel, Trinidad.
With the ageing population in Jamaica and across the Caribbean the 15 Alzheimer’s Association are working together to get our governments to make the care of persons living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia related disorders a National Health Priority. It is projected that by 2050 approximately One Million persons across the Caribbean will be affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia related disorders. This Conference is for all stakeholders involved in dementia care. All are invited to attend and participate as we all seek to discuss the varied issues when it comes to Dementia care across the English-speaking Caribbean.
