Alzheimer’s Jamaica co-hosts launch of the STRiDE Project

Jamaica is one of seven countries chosen to participate in an international research study- Strengthening Responses to Dementia in Developing Countries (STRiDE) Funded by the Research Council UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund and the London School of Economics and Political Science. STRiDE JA aims to outline the national changes needed to improve the lives of persons living with dementia (PLWD) and their caregivers, The project was launched on October 26th at UWI Regional Headquarters, Mona, Kingston.
